Vincent isn't an angel, he isn't a dark angel either. He's one of his own breed called Thellen's that existed thousands and thousands of years ago. Tales of his race led to stories and soon the word 'angel' was created by humans to describe them. Vincent used to fit the physical and common description perfectly, but for some reason thousands of years ago he was locked and chained in a cave where he sat in darkness and misery. He no longer remembers why he was locked down there (hell, a few thousand years later one would forget a lot of stuff), but over time his anger and frustration changed his mind and appearance to what he is now. He's very dark, rash, extremely moody, confused, and anti-social, and mainly likes to sit alone in his dark corner to wallow in his own misery. Despite his now dark personality he's still very funny and intelligent when he wants to be, but he doesn't think at all before saying things, especially when he's angry, so he often says hurtful things he doesn't mean which all in all gives him an odd humour and an unsure and clumsy relationship with people. He doesn't really get along with others very well because he intentionally tries not to make friends and avoid people, even though deep down all he wants is to be close to someone. Something tells me that he was hurt by someone he cared for when he was locked away, because he goes out of his way to stay away from everyone. It was kind of odd when we first found him since we were trying to help him and he kept fighting us and refused to let us touch him...but since we found him day by day he's getting nicer and joins in on our group activities more and more and has even made friends with Justin. Still though he never smiles (well, occasionally he'll sneer when he's done something bad or if he's in a decent mood he'll have a pleasant look on his face but that's it), and if he's been too socially active his mind will snap back and he'll go to sit in his dark corner in his room. When he does that we usually just leave him alone for a bit to recoup, I don't think he goes there because he doesn't want to interact with people I just think that it's because he was alone for so long he doesn't know how to interact with people, and if he does manage to do it, it just shocks him and he needs to get away. *sigh* The poor kid, we'll break him out of that shell eventually whether he likes it or not!! Vincent is the darkest one of the group, yet everyone seems to like him. He's always had a very attractive aire about him that make people want to say 'Hi' which just irritates him. Despite his hurtful comments and awkwardness he's managed to establish a nice balance with Trevor, and even though he and Beniko fight constantly they're more like brother and sister than anything else and should anyone aside from him try to hurt her (as in, not a joking way) he'd be the first to beat the crap out of them. He's friends with Justin, so they often terrorize Beniko and the others, but he's too leary of everyone else to make friends...plus three is enough for him to handle I think. Whenever anyone else tries to poke him into being friends he usually snaps back at them and insults them or otherwise makes them go away, but actually this bounces back on him and instead they come back in force and put him in an embarassing quite frequently. You'd be amazed what this kid has to go through! I think he likes the attention though so I don't stop people from doing it to him. Besides, it's fun to watch everyone force alcohol into him then make him do silly stuff! Date Discovered: October 31, 2002 Sex: Male. Height: 5' 4" Favorite Colors: Black and Red Description: Vincent used to have mid-back length black hair that tended to jet off in many directions because he never brushed it, but because it looked so ratty I managed to tie him down long enough to wash it and cut it, so now he has short hair in the back and long bangs in the front with a long, thin pony tail from the base of his neck. He has huge feathery black wings with claws on the top coming from his back, a dark complextion, a small T-shaped scar under his left eye, and his left eye is brown and his right eye is bright green. Clothes: He never wears a shirt because of his huge black wings (we're working on a solution to that one, the poor kid freezes around winter time), but wears a pair of baggy black pants. He also still has chains around his wrists from when he was imprisoned, those ones were obviously made to be the strongest since he's managed to break all the other ones but those.
