Nyan-chan is actually real. I mean, I own him. I bought him in Kyoto on our way to see the Silver Pavilion back in September of 2003. He's this cute little plushy cat doll thing that's supposed to bring good 'spirit' hence why he has the Kanji for 'spirit' on him. I've been taking Nyan-chan with me all across Japan on my travels and taking pictures of him by famous things. Then I decided to make him into a character since he's around so much. Nyan-chan is a cat, and that's it, that's his personality. He's a good cat too. He can talk, but he doesn't all that often and opts to meow. Normally he just curls up anywhere and takes naps then wakes up and gets petted or eats then goes back to his cat-naps. He's the constantly happy one always with a cat grin on his face, I don't think he knows of any other emotions. His eyes are always squinty because of his smile and when he isn't sleeping or eating he's bouncing around or playing with string and things like that. He can 'morph' in and out of his cat form, and he also can change his size whenever he wants. So one minute you'll be watching him run around naked as a tiny kid then in a poof he's running around naked fully grown which is embarassing when you take him out in public! Did I mention that he knows nothing of modesty either? Nyan-chan is the family pet if you will, everyone loves him...except Vincent (who hates being annoyed) and Justin (who hates happy things). Even still Nyan-chan runs around playing with everyone and trying to get everyone to laugh. He's like a court jester really. If you're feeling down he's the one to go to, since he's always willing to let you pet him or to keep your lap warm. He's just too cute! He also makes a great toy for Echo so you can see those two together quite often...they're personalities just go so well together. Age: ?? Date Discovered: September 9, 2003 Sex: Male. Height: Varies Favorite Color: Green Description:Nyan-chan can take many forms from his little plushy doll form, to chibi-form, to full grown form. Aside from the plushy doll form, he has shoulder length shaggy green hair and a green tail and a blue-green fur color on the rest of his body. He has a bright green pattern that runs from the ridge of his nose across his eyes and up to his hairline so it looks like he has a mask on almost. He also has two yellow spots above his eyes where his eyebrows should be. When his eyes are open (which is very rare) he has yellow eyes like the spots on his head. Clothes: When in his doll form, none. When in his chibi-form he can wear normal clothes but he prefers to run around naked and have that freedom. In his full grown form everyone more or less throws him into at least a pair of pants or shorts depending on the weather to cover his naughty bits, but getting him to stop squirming long enough to put those on can be a hassle!
