If you are planning on adopting, you MUST read these rules and notes before doing so.

First, the Standard Copyright Statement: All of the pictures and critters up for adoption are mine. Not yours, mine. Don't think for a second you have any rights toward them at all even if they are on your site. I'm just being nice enough to let you borrow them so appreciate it. They are all protected under US and International copyright laws. They are NOT Public Domain, if you use them in an inappropriate manner or in any way I don't like then I have the legal authority to get on your case. And trust me, I will. I am not at all shy or lacking in courage, DO NOT TEST ME!

1.) YOU MUST HAVE A VALID WEB ADDRESS TO ADOPT A CRITTER! Not just a web site, but a website that you are going to put your adopted critter ON. The point isn't to have these guys laying around your harddrive, it's to show them off!

2.) You must save all banners, graphics, adoptables, etc. to your own harddrive!. You can spare the extra few kb's to put the pictures on your own space. I on the otherhand, don't have the bandwidth. So, please don't link the pictures from my address! In case you're wondering, my web server tracks that sort of thing and I'll have you shut down if I have to.

3.) You ABSOLUTELY MAY NOT alter these graphics in any way, shape, or form. This includes but is not limited to cropping, resizing, adding clothing/text/backgrounds/anything else, or removing the copyright notice.

4.) The only graphics which you are able to take are the ones that directly say 'Save this to your harddrive' or something like 'Here you go, help yourself!'. ALL other graphics are not to be removed from the site. Those include (but are not limited to) the opening graphics, my logo, the 'goodbye' dragon, and my buttons.

5.) These graphics are to be used only on CHILD-FRIENDLY sites. No porn, cussing, obnoxious pictures or behavior, or anything like that. If you don't know what child-friendly is exactly, look it up on Google.

6.) You ABSOLUTELY MAY NOT claim these graphics as your own, re-adopt them out in your 'own' agency, or do anything to take the credit away from me.

7.) You ABSOLUTELY MAY NOT use these pictures as a background, company logo, or do anything to make money or profit off them.

I spend a lot of time working on these pictures so if you take them,
I will get really, REALLY mad...and trust me, you don't want to see me mad.

I also reserve the right to NOT distribute them.
