FAQ: Can I use my critter in a newsletter/listbot/etc.? I don't care, so long as it's not a business thing. Just be sure to give me credit, a link back to Chrystine.com, and let me know about it first so if someone emails me I won't get confused. FAQ: Can I use my critter as a company logo/background/sales logo/etc.? Absolutely not. These critters are meant only for personal pages and amusement. If you want a critter to use for a business page you have to order it, and if you want to do that then contact me and we'll work something out. FAQ: Can you make me a special critter for {insert reason here}? I will make you an exclusive critter for your own site fairly quickly for a price. How much it will cost depends on what you want, leave me a note in my guestbook about it. It's been a long time, and my style has changed dramatically, so take a look at my newer works to get a sense of how it might look. FAQ: What's up with your spelling of...? Some other spellings/also known as: Faery= Fairy, Fae, Fairies, Fairie. Gryphon=Griffin, Griffon, Griffyn. Pegacorn=Alicorn, Unisus. Tikki=Tiki. Zodiak=Zodiac. etc, etc, etc... They're all the same. I just chose to spell them my way. The Tikki one was intentional, they're my Tikki's =D The Pegacorn thing was just what I called them when I was little and didn't know the technical name...so that just sort of stuck, and that's where you'll find pegasi and unicorns too. Anyways, the point is they're called that cause I wanted them to be called that. So don't email me telling me I spelled it wrong, cause I either did it on purpose or that's just how I spell it =) FAQ: Eep! Someone is stealing your pictures and calling it their own!! What should I do? Please please leave me a message in my guestbook!! I need to know when someone is doing this so that I can go bite the head off of that person! These are copyrighted pictures and artwork. I know people love to think that 'they aren't just pictures, they're really pets that you care for and take care of' and I don't mind that. It's fun. But in reality, they are artwork that I've worked very hard on. Taking them IS punishable by fines and even jail time. I suggest you don't do it. FAQ: When I put my critter on my web page there's a weird green/orange/red background and it looks ugly. Why is it there and how do I get rid of it? I use Paint Shop Pro to make my critters and there's a tool that sets transparencys so when you stick it on a page there's no background to it except the one you have on your page. However to do that you have to use a different color that isn't used in the picture. Since I don't use bright green in my pictures, I use that as the background. The only reason it should show up in your pictures is if you resize it, and that's against the rules so I suggest you just leave it as it is. FAQ: I don't know HTML that well, how do I get my critter on my page now that I have it? Okay, right click on the picture, click "Save As", select where you want to put it, then click on "Save". Then, go to your web site filemanager and click on your "Upload" button and upload the pictures to your server. Now, since a lot of people aren't good with HTML stuff, I'm going to make it easy. Below is some pre-made HTML code. All you have to do is copy this code, put it where you want your critter to appear, insert your critter's filename where it says, and click "Save". That's it =)
